Aujourd'hui je souhaite parler de Moby, un musicien, compositeur de musique électronique. J'adore son style de musique, j'admire son talent, je suis fan!
Né dans les années 60, de son vrai nom Richard Melville Hall, Il est l'arrière petit neveu de l'auteur du célèbre roman Moby Dick (d'Herman Melville), c'est pourquoi Richard hérite de son pseudonyme "Moby" quelques jours après sa naissance.
Musicien dés son adolescence, il commence à la guitare punk, il se convertira à la musique électronique dans les années 1980 et excèle plus particulièrement dans la House Music, tendance musicale née à Chicago. Pendant plusieurs années Moby possède le statut de Disc Jockey Remixer, il obtient une reconnaissance planetaire avec la sortie de son hymne trancey "Go". En 1995 Moby sort l'album "Everything is wrong", il continue sa route, sort plusieurs albums jusqu'en 1999 "Play", le succès de l'album intervient à la sortie du single "Natural Blues". Moby revient en 2002, avec un album événement 18, qui connaît lui aussi un succès planétaire. En 2005 Moby signe son grand retour avec "Hotel", un nouvel opus sur lequel le musicien devient aussi chanteur. En 2008, Moby fait un nouveau retour tapageur avec "Last Night".
